Canal Day is an old-time country fair that celebrates the Morris Canal and its contributions to the development of the communities along its banks. The 2026 festival will be held on Saturday, August 22nd, from 10am – 5pm.
Come and enjoy live music all morning and afternoon, food trucks, beer garden, crafters and exhibitors, historical reenactments, activities for kids, and more!
After the festival, the borough of Wharton will hold their annual fireworks display at Robert St Park. Festivities begin at 7:30pm with fireworks at dusk. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the show!
