The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society of Hammonton will hold their 151st Annual Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Festival from Monday, July 13th, through Saturday, July 18th, located at the festival grounds on Mt Carmel Lane.
A Hammonton tradition since 1875, the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Festival is the longest running Italian festival in the country and features live music and DJ entertainment each night, plenty of fantastic food including Italian fare, beer garden, a carnival midway with rides and games for all ages by Amusements of America, and fun for the entire family!
On the feast day, July 16th, there will be a Mass at 3pm followed by a procession through the streets of Hammonton, along with a dazzling fireworks display after dark. A second fireworks show will also be held on the final day, July 18th.
Admission to the carnival grounds is free. Pay one Price unlimited ride wristbands are available on July 14th, 15th, and 16th for $40 per wristband/per day. Individual ride credits will also be available ranging from 18 credits for $20, to 98 credits for $100 with each ride taking 4-6 credits.
Free shuttle service to the festival will be available from 6-11pm each night (4-11pm on July 16th) from Hammonton Middle School.
Along with the festival, the OLMC Society will be holding a pre-festival event on July 12th with a ravioli dinner at The Sons of Italy hall on N 3rd St from 1-7pm, and Running of the Sandwiches at 4pm along 3rd St.
