Bridgewater Township and the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Bridgewater will be hosting the Second Annual Bridgewater Community Day Featuring Touch-a-Truck & Dog Day on Sunday, September 15 from 11 AM- 2 PM.

Bridgewater Community Day is free and open to the entire community. The event will be held outdoors on the grounds of Somerset County Vo-Tech High School, located at 14 Vogt Drive in Bridgewater next to the Bridgewater Library and Farmers Market, and will be held rain or shine. The event benefits JCC Special Needs Programs and Services for children and adults. Hunterdon Healthcare is the Title Sponsor.

The event will be a fun-filled day for families and dogs; dogs on leashes and with current vaccinations are welcome to attend. A variety of trucks and vehicles will be available to children to explore including emergency vehicles, a medical rescue helicopter and construction trucks. Local animal shelters and rescue agencies will have dogs available for adoption. Kidsโ€™ activities include inflatables, a game truck, face painting and kidsโ€™ tattoos. Food will be available for purchase from Food Trucks.
