Perhaps the best kept secret in NJ is the traditional Annual Labor Day Italian Feast in Scotch Plains, NJ, hosted by the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Chapter of UNICO, St. Bartholomew’s Church and St. Bartholomew’s Academy.

The festival runs from Friday, August 31st through Labor Day, September 3rd and has something for everyone to enjoy including nightly live music, a midway with carnival rides and games, and delicious food including favorites like pizza, sausage sandwiches, zeppoles, clams, calzones, and more. There’s also nightly 50/50 drawings and a super 50/50 raffle on Labor Day.

Entertainment at the festival includes Wolf Creek on Friday, The Jersey Four on Saturday, The Broadcasters on Sunday, and The VooDudes on Labor Day.

On Saturday evening at 5pm, there will be a Mass celebrated in Italian followed by a procession accompanied by Italian music in honor ofΒ Saint Nicola Β di Bari,Β the patron saint of Montazzoli, Italy.
