Memorial Day weekend means it’s time for the Annual African American Heritage Festival & Parade located at Weequahic Park in Newark! 2017 marks the 50th anniversary for the festival and the weekend long celebration features carnival rides for all ages, pony rides, petting zoo, games, health pavilion, marching bands, live entertainment, and much more!

The Heritage Parade kicks off on Sunday, May 28th at 12 noon on Broad Street in Newark.
